Concrete Pad is done.
Aside from a couple of areas left to finish, the concrete pad is done. We have a new door going on the house, which will need to be set in place prior to concrete going down in that area. The pad for the casita is also ready and framing is going up as I am typing this. The pool will also advance during this stage with tile and finish all around. Landscaping will be the last part of project.
There are a few areas still to work out. The wall in the background in picture still needs to be finished prior to Barbecue and Counter being installed. All utility lines are also ready of this area with a Firepit scheduled.
The Casita
The next big area of work will be the casita. This will be surrounded by a putting hole and new landscaping. When finished, it will be a great spot to hang out during the hot months of Vegas. The area has gone thorough a couple of changes in plans, leading up to its current size. As owner realized that original plans did not leave for much room in “living” area, they decided to enlarge it by a few feet. Small details like this cause a domino effect. We need new plans to submit to city for corrections. Our subs will have to update their quotes based on new dimensions. Of course this also adds time to our schedule. But in order to make clients happy, everyone has to adjust.
Concrete pad is down and ready for framing.
