Two new kitchens from a couple of projects we recently finished. These were full on remodels with bathrooms changing, new walls, upgraded paint and lighting as well.
This post though is strictly on the Kitchen part of the remodels. Click here to see what this kitchen looked like before. http://futuresbuildingcompany.com/home-remodel-progress/
Both new kitchens were finished by our cabinetry expert at https://www.affirmingkitchenclarity.com/, whom we have worked with for many years. Their work is exceptional and always pleasing to the eye and many of our clients will agree. It isn’t an easy process, since you have many individuals involved in the design and execution process; Designers, Owners, their friends and relatives always have an input.
Cabinetry Details in New Kitchens
There are many styles of paneling to choose from. Both kitchens in these projects went with a modern look – flat panels, clean edges and smooth light colors. Both also chose to go with full uppers, rather than leave space between the cabinets and the ceiling. An option that some other clients prefer.
The industry has evolved considerably to accommodate new technology and gadgets that offer convenience to the home owners. There are panel ready appliances, specialty drawers, hidden plugs and many more small details that add to the look of any home.
Both pictures above show two different dishwashers. Both are different brands and both offer a panel ready version rather than the typical Stainless Steel finish. No matter the brand, the Cabinet maker makes sure that everything is finished and it all fits perfectly.
The panel on door above is taller than the door, this is to keep with the look of all the cabinetry at top (uppers).
Creative use of space under and on the sides of a vanity sink. This may have been at the suggestion of the client or the cabinet maker.
