The Lot
The owner of this property reached out to us to provide him a bid or quote for a new Casita. As is usual, we were one of three companies bidding on project and given to the size and scope of project, it is not a quick endeavor. Ultimately we were awarded the bid. Of course this was after weeks of obtaining proposals from our subcontractors, meetings with owners, designers and architects. This is a picture of the area where we are building the new Casita at The Ridges.
This was a playground with a small retaining wall containing landscaping on a hill. On the West side of the property there were pine trees as part of original landscape and with the new design, this would all be demoed.
The picture below shows where we are now with the project. This is after months of work, digging out the hill, building a massive retaining wall, pouring tons of concrete and so much more that goes into building a structure.
This is only one of many other posts on this project. The following picture shows the hill after all the dirt was removed and the new retaining wall already in place. At this point, all conduits and plumbing lines are already in place before concrete pad is placed.
