Besides a few other projects, one that is keeping us occupied is a Total landscape and Pool Remodel. For this, we had to dig; in the front, the back, the sides, and take down some walls to let machinery in to do excavation.
Once existing pool, concrete patio and planters were removed, it was the turn for the plumbing subs to begin laying their pipes for gas, water and sewer lines.
Here are some shots of the project prior to starting and as they look currently.
Pictures below show the landscape at front, facing the street. Bushes had to be removed along with gate and walls to allow excavators access to backyard. This is standard practice at any job where access to rear of house is needed for large projects.
Different stages for the construction of the new pool. First, removal of old surface, piping, everything that made it work is now all gone and getting it all ready for new updated connections; gas, water, electrical, etc.
These pictures show both sides of house, One through which the excavator was going to go through. This shows progress from original state to complete removal of concrete, planters and walls.
At this point, project has gone through a couple of inspections, and trenches with pipes and conduits have been filled back in with dirt. Next step is to compact the dirt and get it ready for the new concrete and or pavers.
